Direct-online starting of motor often produce voltage flicker, mechanical stress to the equipment. Starting a motor at reduced voltage can overcome these problems. GS Autotransformers for Motor Starting are designed for on-line starting of motors in a smooth, simple and economical way. It greatly reduces the high starting current and high starting torque. Our autotransformers are designed for heavy duty starting as only copper wire is used instead of aluminum wire.
